1611 King James Bible
Prophecy Ministries stands firmly on the 1611 King James Bible. This is a topic of great debate amoung both bible believers and bible attackers. The reason is simple, the very first thing the bible records Satan doing all the way back in Genesis is question what God said, "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" (Gen 3:1). Well, nothing has changed, his latest questions over God's word come in a variety of names, NIV, NASV, NLT ect.. But the action is the same, question what part of God's word is right and what part is wrong. Imagine, man deciding what part of God's word is correct. Imagine, man correcting God.

To see that the 1611 King James Bible is God's perfect word and all the per-versions are an attack on His word is simple, one must simply read them. The bible teaches that we should not lean on the understanding of man (Proverbs 3:5). Man then teaches that we must rely on what man tells us God's word really means, because it is filled with errors so we must trust them to correct it repeatedly. Who should we believe? God says that He is telling the truth and those men are lying (Romans 3:4).

Man goes on to tell us that over all the years, God's words have been corrupted by man, so we must trust man to preserve them. What does God say? He says that HE HAS preserved them (Psalms 12:7). Again, let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4).

Man then tells us that the bible is too hard to understand so they must interpret it for us. What does God say ? "...no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation" (2 Peter 1:20). Again, let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4).

What about the original manuscripts?... yes yes, the originals. Well, what about the original manuscript for the book of Jeremiah? It was burned in a fire, and after the original was burned, the Lord rewrote it, and when He rewrote it He added things to it, He added words to it that were not in the original manuscript (Jeremiah 36:10-32). Man says that the original is more complete for them to translate from, God says the original didn't have everything He ended up writing. Man says they have the original and God says the original was burned in a fire. Again, let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4).

It is very simple, it all comes down to this, if a man wants to teach something that goes against the bible, the only way he can do that, is if he has already taught you to accept him changing what the bible says, after all, if he taught you that the bible was indeed God's perfect word, then he would have to teach exactly what it says even if it meant he was wrong about something. Imagine, not being able to correct the bible based on what you believe and having to correct what you believe based on the bible.

Friend, let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4).
